Your tender heart poured out in such eloquent and inspiring words never fails to inspire me. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability and for pointing us to Jesus. You are an absolute gift. Praying for you. ❤️
I hate that you have gone and are going through so much pain, but I love reading about the ways you are so surrounded by love and help. And yes, I agree with Stacy, you are a delight!
You are so worth it!!!! God has richly gifted you and I am blessed to see and receive your giftedness. Your life and health matters to me. I want to be on your team - to pray, to offer transportation, to bring a meal. Add me to those texts you send!!
I’ll be praying for you, Erin. God put you on my heart last week, and I can relate to the thoughts you’ve shared here more than you know. May we both have eyes to see Him holding us.
Oh Erin, I'm so sorry you're in this place and facing these tough decisions about medications and their charming side effects (something I've done too, and don't envy anyone going through!). But what a beautiful example of how your circle is showing up for you in such tangible ways. I find that so encouraging!
These lines especially struck me:
"My help doesn’t look like I wish it did. I want immediate, lasting relief. I want to be the one helping people, not the one always needing help. Yet the Lord in his goodness and kindness has instead seen fit to pour out on me heaping measures of love and grace to sustain me when I want to give up. He may not remove this trial, but he will undoubtedly see me through it..."
Thank you for sharing so candidly about the reality of life with depression and all its yuckiness, but also of the hope you're finding. I pray the first sessions of treatments next week go smoothly and take immediate effect! 🤍
You are a delight ❤️. Praying for this next part of your story! Thank you for sharing it with us.
