Great post, Erin. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed & overstimulated, and then I realize, "Duh! You're listening to a podcast while the kids are around!" It's no wonder I feel like there's too much noise. Ha!

I do this too!! I’m basically turning to noise to drown out other noise. 🤦‍♀️

What an amazing and timely post. I can relate to so much of what you said. You have helped me more accurately see what I have been experiencing. Thank you. I pray I can recapture the quiet and what it can bring. ❤️

I needed this. I am usually good about quieting my mind, but lately my brain has felt super loud with tasks and negative self-talk, and I find myself listening to music and podcasts more often. I'm going to ask the Lord to quiet my heart and drown out my internal noise with His peaceful spirit.

I love this, Erin, and am so thankful that your new medication is working!! 🙌🏻 These thoughts about quiet made me think of a book I finished a few months ago, Beholding by Strahan Coleman. I highly recommend it!

I’m coming up on a year of taking my Apple Watch off completely and it’s amazing how much freer I feel to not be ~as~ reachable. It truly did wonders for my mind. Now I need to follow your lead and take the quietness a step further, this was a great read and just what I needed to hear tonight!
