Since it’s prime Christmas shopping time, I thought I would do a little roundup of fun gift ideas. I love giving gifts and shopping for gifts, so this was fun to put together. In the spirit of Friday Five, I have chosen 5 categories1 and have limited my choices to 5 gifts per category2. Because I’m just a normal person and not an influencer, these gifts are all relatively inexpensive. (I can’t tell you the number of times I have seen something shared and excitedly clicked on the link, only to find that the item is over $200.)

Great Books to Give
Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Journey by Alfred Lansing. Nonfiction that reads like fiction.
He Is Strong: Devotions for When You Feel Weak by Emily Jensen. Not only does this devotional look beautiful, it has such solid content.
Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon. A devotional from one of my theological heroes.
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. This book inspired one of my all-time favorite book club discussions.
Any book by Glenna Marshall: The Promise Is His Presence, Everyday Faithfulness, or Memorizing Scripture
Now it’s your turn! What is one of your favorite gifts to give?
You’ll notice I didn’t include a category for teens. That’s because they are still largely a mystery to me, and also, they probably just want cash or will tell you exactly what items they want.
I may have cheated a little by including multiple items under one number. I never was good at math.
All Amazon links are affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you shop with my links.
We have those double walled bodum glasses, they're lovely! The Kingdom of God series is on my list for the kiddos this year.
I don't have a specific favorite gift to give! But I just saw that Paul David Tripp has a new devotional out, and I'm thinking it would be a good gift for my MIL!
