Thanks so much for linking to my Aldi essay! It's been such a joy to see how it's resonated with so many....we've truly ALL been there!

James & I just listened to the audio version of How to Stop Time. I loved it! He thought it was just okay and says he much preferred The Midnight Library by the same author. I think enjoyed them equally. We also recently listened to The Diamond Eye and we both thought that one was excellent.

I agree with James, but Midnight Library is one of my favorite books ever, so I am biased. :) I haven’t heard of The Diamond Eye!

So much good stuff! I LOVED How to Stay Married. My husband and I are listening to it lately while we work a puzzle!

I’m a weirdo who gets stressed out by puzzles, but I like the idea of pairing it with a book and doing it with my husband!

I recently finished Harrison Scott Key’s first book. I loved it! I’m reading “The Art of Gathering” now. I also re-listened to two episodes from the Coffee + Crumbs podcast: “This Is How I Don’t” and “Being a Good Friend in Hard Seasons.”

I want to go back and read some of Key’s other writing as well, so I am glad to hear you liked that one!

I've been watching some college basketball! And I just watched "The Irish Wish" on Netflix over the weekend. It was a cute rom-com with a typical ending, but it was enjoyable to watch! :)

I have been wanting to watch that too!

I read Garret Kell’s article a while ago found it helpful! On the same subject Pastor John Piper’s podcast episode “God Delivers from the Suffering He Ordains” is super helpful. Check out Eliza King’s songs “Olive Grove “ and “The Narrow Road”

Thanks for the recommendations! I like “The Narrow Road” but don’t know that other song.
